STAPS is a multidisciplinary French-language journal in sports science. It publishes original research in social sciences and humanities: history of sport and physical education, sociology of sport, psychology of sport, ethnology and anthropology, sport administration, epistemology, didactics and intervention in sport and physical education etc. For the last thirty years, the STAPS has been characterized by its desire to generate a scientific analysis of phenomena relating to sports and / or physical education, their practices, their institutions and their actors. As a peer-reviewed international scientific journal, it publishes sports science and social sciences and humanities articles, in French and in English, written by researchers from around the world.
