For a critical theory of the sporting institution

The sporting institution has officially become a political resource in the ideological fight against tensions within, and resistance and opposition to, the dominant capitalist system. This is why critical sport theory is essential, in all its radicality, to understand this “total social” fact. This text offers some arguments that demonstrate that sport is, dialectically, a modern parameter of political domination, which underlies the few principles outlined.
