The different heat waves that cross Europe several months of the year and that are likely to be repeated due to global warming force PE teachers to integrate the thermal constraint in their teaching approach. Particularly aware of these concerns given his many years of practice in the French Overseas Territories, Gilles Marrot has been given carte blanche to give us his vision of eco-citizen and eco-responsible PE. The objective of this interview is to benefit from the reflexive hindsight of the accumulated professional experience of a PES teacher practicing in Overseas France in order to propose to PES teachers (in schools, colleges, high schools and universities) practical contents to ensure a quality and safe teaching in case of strong heat.
