It is to be seen in different parts of the world the development of a speech based on perspectives and notions that express the criticism of colonial modernity. Physical Education, and the forms of body education that it contains, are not immune to such debate. This dossier brings to light experiences of body education in practices in the periphery of capitalist modernity and by female bodies. At the same time, it discusses challenges of the schooling process under decolonial perspective.
